Hi, I‘m Ashala Vanilla. Almost everyone calls me Ash except my mother. My dad passed away five months ago from a serious case of bone cancer. Only weeks later I began to shoot up heroine. When I do, it feels like all my problems just go out the door. On top of all that, I’m gay. And I still don’t know how to tell anyone. Being a single child is hard for me.
